BURDOCK

ROOT
The native species of burdock are distributed in Europe, North America and Asia, and are planted in the spring and the rhizomes are harvested the same year or the following winter. The leaves of burdock are wide and oval, the head of the fruit is covered with barb-like thorns, the roots deep into the ground are straight and thick, and the length of the main rhizome can exceed one meter. Burdock is drought and frost tolerant, suitable for growing in the warmer months and dormant in the winter. When burdock goes dormant in winter, we pull its rhizomes from the soil, scrub, clean, cut and air dry to obtain burdock extract through Bio-Intrinsic™ exclusive extraction technology. Skincare efficacy: Burdock root extract has soothing properties and has long been used to combat sensitive face and scalp to help restore balance to the skin.
ROOT
The active ingredients extracted from the roots of plants need to grow in the soil for more than 2 years before harvest to be considered mature.
